I just purchased this from Bob and Carla Bak from Inverness, FL. I sold my 1973 Scotty Sportsman to Dave Welch from Venice, FL, whose is a new member of the NSSO. I am truly in love with this classic Scotty. She has been kept in excellent condition. I can't wait to get her camping!
I added the accessories to make “her” mine.

I've been a fan a vintage trailers for as long as I can remember. I've never owned anything brand new, always gently love. I don't remember the name of the first classic camper but it was bought in Winnemucca, Nevada in 1987 and I think it was a 1977. The second one was a 1976 Apache hard-side pop-up. I kept that until the side were too crispy to stand up! It went to camper heaven. Two years ago I bought a 5'x10' Teardrop that someone local had built, used for a couple of months and sold to me. She (“Cajun Casa”) was a lot of fun and got a lot of attention. I then sold her, bought a 1973 Serro Scotty Sportsman that needed some interior rehab. I had all the intentions of refurbishing it but I finally gave up, sold it a week ago and purchased my current jewel…1977 18' Serro Scotty Highlander (trunk-back). She is just beautiful!
I will never be the owner of a white-box camper. They just don't have personality or character like these classy vintage trailers do. I finally have my husband convinced of that!
