Ginger and I retired in 2011 after I my career in automotive engineering in the Detroit area. We now live in Cape Coral Fl. We have also lived in Southern and Northern California as well as North Carolina. We love nothing better than to hitch up the Avion and head out to places we have not seen yet.
Our rig is a 1975 Avion 28' LaGrande. We are the second owners. I bought it from a guy I used to work with. His dad bought it new in 1975 after retiring and traveled around the country with his wife until they were too old to travel. The trailer sat in the woods on his sons property in St. Helen Mi. for about 5 years after they had Passed away.We bought it in 2007, cleaned it up, put on new tires and brakes and she was good as new although not as shiny.
