Total cost is $200 for the first person on your site, $75 additional for each guest on your site. Your deposit of $75 is due upon signup, the balance of $125 for 1st registrant, and $75 for each guest is due 60 days prior to the trip (March 29, 2015). Refunds will be given (minus credit card fees) up to March 29, 2015. After that, refunds will only be given if a replacement is found.

Where: Linville Falls Trailer Lodge & Campground (Newland, NC)

Linville Falls Trailer Lodge & Campground (Newland, NC) opened it's doors in 1966 and retains the vintage features of the era. There is no wifi or cable tv but the location is amazing and is a perfect fit for vintage campers. They have full hookup sites with water, sewer and electric and a very well maintained bath house.
The entire campground is reserved for TCT but it's a small private campground so sites are limited. That means book early! One night deposit holds your site
The campground is located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway at junction US 221, is minutes from Western North Carolina’s most spectacular attractions, including Linville Falls & Linville Gorge, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Caverns and Gem Mountain.

1st Annual TCT Great Smoky Mountains Gathering

The facility is under new ownership and the owner is more than excited to have us on board. He has offered a 20% discount on the nighty fee. With the discount it will be $36.00/night. He will honor this price starting on 6/14/15 thru the night of the 20th for those wanting to stay longer. As long as we have at least 20 units (maximum of 40) he has offered to sponsor a full dinner for one night, he will advertise the open house through the Blount County Chamber of Commerce and several forms of media. We will have full use of there meeting room which is nice and also roomy. They have a community fire pit plus fire rings at campsites. He is going to try and line up some musicians and if any Tin Canner's play that will be awesome as well!

Victor Camping Rally 4th of July - Mueller State Park
When: July 3-5, 2015
Where: Mueller State Park, 21045 Highway 67 South, Divide, CO
We will camp at scenic Mueller State Park, which is approx. 20 minutes from the historic mining towns of Victor and Cripple Creek. This year's trip will be limited to the 11 camp sites available within the group campground. You MUST be a member of the national Tin Can Tourists group to attend. $25 per year at tincantourists.com.
Total costs $80 for the first participant. Guests staying in the same trailer will be $30. You must have an annual pass or a daily pass ($7 per day) to stay at the state park, in addition to the camp site fees. If you don't have an annual pass, be sure to pick up your daily pass at the entrance when you come into the park.
Deposit of $50 due upon signup. Remaining fees due June 1, 2015. You will receive a refund if someone takes your place at any time before the trip. The group camp site has been paid for in advance by me personally.
As soon as I have participants for 11 camp sites, the RSVPs will be closed. You must have an annual pass or a daily pass ($7 per day) to stay at the state park, in addition to the camp site fees. If you don't have an annual pass, be sure to pick up your daily pass at the entrance when you come into the park.
This will be a weekend trip. We will have a pot luck dinner on Friday evening, and will have a group dinner on Saturday night. This year we will again use Signup Genius to assign tasks. We will not be providing breakfasts or lunches.
Mueller State Park is a wildlife refuge and has many biking, hiking and horseback riding trails. Mueller State Park is about 1 hr and 45 minutes from Denver, and about 35 minutes from Colorado Springs. Go to this link for more info: Mueller State Park. There is plenty of great fishing in the area: Fishing in Victor.
There are many attractions and activities in Cripple Creek and Victor including historic walking tours, antiquing, shopping and sightseeing. Link: Cripple Creek, CO. There will be Fourth of July celebrations in Woodland Park and Cripple Creek.
The entire area is rich in mining history and tours of the historic mines are available. Electric hook ups will be available at each camp site. Water, restrooms and showers are available (bring change for showers).
Dogs are permitted but must be on leash at all times in the park. THIS RULE WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED. This is a wildlife refuge and it is very important that dogs are leashed, not merely on "voice control." Cats are permitted inside your trailer. Also, the park rules are very strict regarding caching of food. There are bears in the area. Please be aware of these restrictions and be prepared.

TCT U.P. Caravan

Start planning now for the TCT U.P. Caravan; this is a one time trip opportunity for TCT members to tour Michigan's entire Upper Peninsula for 10 nights with some of your favorite vintage-camping friends. The caravan will take place from July 30 through August 8, 2015. We have planned this caravan out in a
way to give participants the opportunity to take in all the U.P. has to offer and maintain a reasonable pace. We want this to be a fun, relaxing trip! The trip will consist of 10 nights in 8 different locations, circling the entire U.P. AND, we are also
bringing along a caterer that will be preparing a wonderful dinner for us each night. Your breakfast and lunch meals are up to you. The average day will consist of traveling roughly 100 miles or so to our next destination, at your own pace, taking time to see as much or as little as you would like along the way; we will all meet up at our next stop in the early evening for happy hour, followed by a great catered dinner, and discussions of the day's adventures. Each night's stay will be at a campground with, at a minimum, electricity and bathroom/shower facilities. Due to limited campsite availability at some stops, we have to limit this trip to 25 units, so sign up early to guarantee your spot.

Bend Classic, Vintage Trailer Rally

The Bend Classic, Vintage Trailer Rally will be held August 7-9, 2015 at the J Bar J Ranch just East of Bend, OR. Camping will be on a grassy field with the Cascade Front in full view. There is some water and 110 electric but this is a ranch and not a trailer park. This is the same weekend as the HUGE car show in Bend. Bend is packed with places to go and things to do. Proceeds will benefit the programs of the Ranch. It is a Tin Can Tourist rally, please come and enjoy. Attendees will get a permanent event nametag, window placard and an "event" open/closed sign.
Costs: $20 rally registration plus $25 (or more) contribution to the J Bar J Youth Ranch (tax deductible).

Desert Diamond Rally
