Vagabond - with questions

Hello, found you on your site on the net. We own a Vagabond trailer that has been converted to a 5th wheel hitch. We were told about 20 years ago when we bought it , that it was a 1960. I don’t believe this year is right. Can you help us out with the year or send me in the direction of who could. The brass plate on the trailer says Model 262, serial # is 37448. We are in northern Canada.



1. Can a vagabond be restored to a shiny aluminum or should we stick with the paint job?



2. Do you know of any parts, like handles and light fixtures available anywhere.



3. Do you know how a person can find out more about the Vagabond company if we can’t come up with a year researching ourselves?



I would greatly appreciate any comment or ideas you have about the trailer.
