Of course it is appropriate. Go to the classifieds and you'll find many vintage trailers for sale.

Since that looks to be the original toilet, Lift the lid and check out the date stamped into the under side of the lid! It might be a year earlier than the date, but it gives you a very close idea. I have seen toilets in many trailers that are either the same year or just a year off. Atleat you will know within a year or two!

To me this looks very similar to the Shasta Compact 1400 and the name would suggest it is...
Check out this picture:

Or go to the shasta page on the TCT Wiki
The roof line is the same, the front is the same - the windows are close but different, I suppose they could have different options.

All you need is a set of wings!

Cool Puck, I like the bare aluminum look. My wife and I just finished restoring a 63 Eriba Faun and have just joint TCT.

mine is a 64, it has checkered turqouise and white walls /ceiling. It had an ice box it in originally and a brown stove top and sink. It came with hardborad panelling. I took it off and put birch wainscoat on.

What you have here is an Ace Travel Trailer> They are very rare and from what i've found on the internet, they made them only for three years. I have literature that I bought on internet from Gemrany if you are interested. You are right, they were bulit very strong. I broke many of sweats trying to remove the hardboard from the interior. I can be reached at 315-725-4636. Tim
