Blue Rocks is a rustic fun-filled environment for everyone. Blue Rocks consists of 125 acres of oaks and pines with mountain streams flowing freely throughout the park. You'll find our awe inspiring Blue Rocks glacier deposit to be astonishing. The formation occurred during the last ice age and has been dated to be as old as 350 million years. The formation covers 15 acres and is said to have a stream that still runs beneath the field. Although Blue Rocks caters to hikers and tenters, we offer a wide choice of tent and RV sites in both open and wooded settings. For those looking for a compromise between a tent and an RV we do offer basic camping cabins for rent.

On Historic Route 66, Enchanted Trails offers beautiful sunsets, desert vistas, and amazing views. Flanked by three extinct volcanoes we sit on a high desert mesa. overlooking the city of Albuquerque and its sparkling night lights. Originally a Trading Post built in the late 1940’s our flat roofed adobe building is typical of the region. The property has been used as a backdrop for several films. Most recently our vintage cars and travel trailers were featured in a Route 66 video. Hoping to preserve the original charm and flavor of the property we’ve resisted a complete remodel. But did add running water and a few other things you might like...
Enchanted Trails has 135 sites and all but 8 pull through. Larger RV’s are quite easily accommodated in our spacious sites. The wireless internet is accessible throughout the property and we have on site propane and RV supplies. Our Clubhouse is filled with vintage curiosities and memorabilia. Our laundry facility just might be the only one around with a ringer washer and mangle iron. The meeting room is available for groups or activities and larger gatherings can expand outside to the patio almost anytime as Albuquerque boasts 256 sunny days a year. The Trading Post has an impressive selection of Native American crafts, southwestern foods and spices along with a variety of fun and funky things you must have.
Enchanted Trails has put in a vintage rental section. We have 4 campers up and running and at least one more will be ready in the spring 2011.

The park is located in the forested area of MODOC county in Northeastern Ca 1 hour south of the Oregon border. The park was started right after WW II in the late 40's. Tionesta was a logging town in the mid 1800 thru 1930's when it was closed for the war. The park was originally a deer hunting camp with rustic/historic cabins from the Long Bell lumber camps. As time went on it evolved into a park with 8 remolded rustic/historic cabins 21, full hook up RV sites & tent sites. We have worked updating and remolding various aspects of the park to provide a fun, safe and exciting time for our guest while maintaining the historic look and feel of the park. We have designed the RV spots around the tress and all the RV sites are large so you don't feel like your camping on top of each other. We have a centrally located shower/bath house and laundry facility. We do group camp fires and handle it all including the wood. We are the only GOOD SAM park in the area. We are nestled among the Oak and Manzanita trees. 40 Tent sites and about 100 RV sites. We also have 8 Cabins 5 person and 2 person cabins. We have 2 separate Bath houses. We have a beautiful club house, pool that is open in season, Jump house for kids, and tread wall for all. A nice place to take walks and feel safe. We are open year round we have mild winters.
Tin Can Tourists’ Friendly Campground Program
This program allows select and member referred campgrounds to express their support of vintage trailers and motor coaches by joining TCT and listing their campground as a "Tin Can Tourists’ Friendly" facility.
By enrolling and becoming members, they are expressing their support of our stated goal "the promotion and preservation of vintage trailers and motor coaches." They will do this by supporting TCT and by encouraging owners of vintage rigs to patronize their campgrounds. This support will buck the current trend noted in a recent Trailer Life magazine that discussed that a number of parks are not allowing coaches over 12 years old to camp at their facilities and that some campgrounds are available for Class "A" motorhomes, only. We became aware of such practices shortly after TCT was renewed in 1998, but restrictive camps are currently increasing at an alarming rate.
TCT is taking an active role in the identification of vintage friendly campgrounds because the original Tin Canners experienced this type of discrimination at municipal parks across the US during the late 1920’s through the 1930’s.
By joining TCT as a vintage friendly campground, your location and amenities will be accessible to all website visitors via a directory. A regular Tin Can Tale’s newsletter feature will spotlight a member campground.

Campground Membership dues are $30.00 - Members receive club decal, laminated membership/ID cards, quarterly newsletter, and TCT chronology from 1919 to the present.
