Sorry Sold! Please see my other campers. (FAN, VOLUNTEER, SEA BREEZE)
Frolic Vintage Camper Trailer.
Fully registered and ready to roll!
Great Family Camper. Plenty of room, sleeping space and great storage! Very nice interior.
New Bearings, all new running lights.
Great camper with three different sleeping areas and a bathroom.
This is a wonderful Time Machine! It has the classic Frolic swept tail styling and a wonderful comfortable, well-kept vintage interior. Frolics of this vintage in this fine shape are very rare. This one gets a lot of attention at campgrounds - even from life-time vintage camping enthusiasts. Comes with working vintage awning.

I have about 50-pictures that I took this week for you to see there.
This beautiful old camper is ready to roll and in camp-able condition. Beautiful original vintage canopy rolls out and is supported by two fixed legs that are tied out to stakes.
It even has the special and hard-to-find Frolic outside coach lamp that plugs in and screws on to a special socket next to the front door.
Camper has a full kitchen and original appliances. Stove, and Gas lamp are all powered with on-board propane and have not been tested. Stove electric light works, but the stove fan would not switch on. Fridge can be powered by electric or propane and may need a shot of coolant/freon, as I couldnt get it to work in a recent test with electric power. I have all of the original paperwork related to the stove and fridge. It should be noted that one of the most common modifications for vintage campers is removing the fridge and replacing with a $99 dorm fridge from Lowes, Target or Walmart. They are inexpensive, fit the opening, and are easy to install.
The sink is great, and it hooks to a standard garden hose when you are at the campground and turns on with a simple twist.
Brake and turn signal lights are new and work. Outside running lights are brand new and working. The connector is a standard "Round" connection. Brakes have been looked at and demonstrated by a liscenced mechanic. The hitch works with a 2-inch ball. Rotary tongue jack works fine.
All original beautiful vintage lamps run on electric and work.
Camper has a small bathroom with a built in comode. There is the capped discharge exit below that allows dumping the a campground disposal station. Toilet has not been tested.
The tires are newish and still have the little nubs on them.
Tows like a dream! Very streamlined and stable. As a test I brought it up to 75-Miles Per Hour behind my Toyota Highlander on the highway, and it tracked perfectly with no wobble, or fish-tailing. The best speed is probably 55 to 65 for safety and gas mileage Your tow vehicle will, of course, have its own unique towing characteristics for you to take into account.
The dining room table area of the trailer has the three wonderful 'Panorama' window surrounding all three sides. Windows look in great shape. Not all windows have full cranks but all open and function.
The Aluminium skin is in good shape with hardly any 'love-bumps' that you would expect to see in a camper of this age. There is a crinckled panel upfront related to a long past collision with a tree. The hollow back square bar bumper has rusted through in a few places on its underside.
The camper has a GREAT layout. Kitchen closet, and bathroom are in the middle. The back has a bench which converts to a large bed, and above it is a fold down bunk. In the front there is a table that drops to make a bed. The original ladder is included.
The interior is clean painted panneling.
Camper box is about about 18-feet long and can fit in most garages.
The inside of the Frolic is great. It feels very big and comfortable inside! It feels like a cozy livingroom at grandmas house. With three sleeping areas - this is one compact camper that could proably fit 2 to 5 people. It might also easily serve as extra bedroom or a guest apartment!
The camper is 7 3/4 feet wide;
It is about 8-feet high, measured from the ground to the top of the camper;
and the camper "box" is 15-feet long; plus the hitch of 3.5 feet make the overall length about 18.5 feet.
Camper is easy to tow. It can be pulled by an SUV, a truck and a sturdy 6 or 8 cylendar car. It has tow chains mounted already.
Please feel free to come-by and see the camper. I prefer that you see it for yourself. Send me an email or call ahead. BUT PLEASE let me know you are interested in the 1967 Froloic! I have a few campers for sale on Tin-Can-Tourists so lets be sure we are talking about the same one. Once the Camper sells I will mark it "Sold". So if you are reading this and it doesn't say "Sold" then I still have it.
Please remember this is a 41-year-old camper with all of its charm and age. The Frolic is sold as-is. Its not right out of the show-room, and its not in perfect mint shape. If you are looking for a brand-new camper, this is not for you. Vintage camping is not for everyone. HOWEVER, if you want to go back to a time before "Nintendo" and the "I-Phone"; and if you actaully enjoy friendship and conversation around a campfire, and if you want to camp in a in a beautiful piece of Americana; and you take care of her; Well then she well may reward and your family a lifetime of memories and enjoyment for 41-years and another 41-years after that!
Currently the camper is Registered and has a valid plate in Massachusetts. Camper will be sold as-is with a valid Bill-of-Sale and other documents so you can register it in your state. If you want, I will provide an affidafid of ownership and a copy of the registration.
Delivery is an option. I can deliver within the New England States for $2 per mile from Zip Code 01451.
Also many people have told me they have good results with a company called "UShip.Com" for delivery. This is up to you to arrange. I can of course be available to meet who ever comes to pick it up, no problem.

Tin Can Tourist Classified Ad Disclaimer and warnings
Sellers - please note - Beware of a buyer scam
If you've received an offer from a buyer (typically overseas) who promises to send a cashier's check for the full amount of your asking price, but he's asking you to send a check for several hundred dollars to a person who will be transporting the trailer. This is not a legitimate request. Don't Do It. If someone really wants to buy your trailer regardless of location, they should be responsible for not only the cost of the trailer, but transportation fees. Use your best judgement here, you're trying to sell a trailer, not pay for your buyer's expenses. The Tin Can Tourists Club offers this classified system free of charge as a service to our community.
