Description:

Monitor Camper.
Price Reduced - Now $1250.00 - just for the time being!
This is your chance to get in to the great hobby of Vintage camping at a Low cover charge!
This is a rare Canned Ham camper made in Indiana in the late 1960's or perhaps the early 1970's. These campers are rare! You may never see another one. Gets lots of attention at campgrounds - even from other Vintage Camping enthusiasts.
Please check out the photos on Picasa. Just click on the photo below!:
This beautiful old camper has the 'good bones' for restoration. See tin-can-tourists and other sites to see how to do-it-yourself!
Camper has a full kitchen and original appliances. Stove, Fridge and Gas lamp are all powered with on-board propane.
All original beautiful vintage lamps.
Tongue jack works perfectly.
Camper has a bathroom stall in the back of camper. Original toilet has been removed and a pot-a-potty is in its place. Water damage on walls of toilet closet.
The tires hold air and show no 'weather-checking'. Hubcaps on both sides. Check out the cool 'lightning bolt' wheel cut outs. There is a rear-mounted spare with cover.
Tows like a dream! Very light!
Camper has all its original cushions, and table. Cushions will need recovering.
The front of the trailer has the wonderful 'Panorama' window surrounding three sides of the main living area. Windows look in great shape, with the exception of front curbside - a single pane is broken. One rear window does not crank open. Full size travel pebble guard covers the front window.
Interior wood work could be re-touched or re-varnished. Bathroom woodwork shows water dammage, and curbside rear corner show some water damage.
Camper box is about 12.5-feet long including the hitch it is about 14-feet long and can fit in most garages.
Camper is light and easy to tow. It can be pulled by an SUV, a truck or a 6-cylender car. Small enought to fin in a scenic 'tent space', and light enough that two people can just lift it up by the tongue and move it anywhere you want.
Please feel free to come-by and see the camper. Send me an email or call ahead. BUT PLEASE let me know you are interested in the Monitor Canned Ham! I have two campers for sale on Tin-Can-Tourists so lets be sure we are talking about the same one. Once the Monitor sells I will mark it "Sold". So if you are reading this and it doesnt say "Sold" then I still have it.
Currently the camper is in Massachusetts. Camper will be sold as-is with a valid Bill-of-Sale and other documents so you can register it in your state. I will provide an affidafid of ownership and a Certificate of VIN number confirmation signed by a Massachusetts Police officer.
Delivery is an option.

Tin Can Tourist Classified Ad Disclaimer and warnings
Sellers - please note - Beware of a buyer scam
If you've received an offer from a buyer (typically overseas) who promises to send a cashier's check for the full amount of your asking price, but he's asking you to send a check for several hundred dollars to a person who will be transporting the trailer. This is not a legitimate request. Don't Do It. If someone really wants to buy your trailer regardless of location, they should be responsible for not only the cost of the trailer, but transportation fees. Use your best judgement here, you're trying to sell a trailer, not pay for your buyer's expenses. The Tin Can Tourists Club offers this classified system free of charge as a service to our community.
