If you've received an offer from a buyer (typically overseas) who promises to send a cashier's check for the full amount of your asking price, but he's asking you to send a check for several hundred dollars to a person who will be transporting the trailer. This is not a legitimate request. Don't Do It. If someone really wants to buy your trailer regardless of location, they should be responsible for not only the cost of the trailer, but transportation fees.
